Having lived in New York City for many years, they chose to settle in Connecticut to raise their family.&nbsp;“After speaking with people in the district, I decided to run for this office because I want voters to have a choice of candidates and I want to serve the community’s needs via legislation that reflects its views and values,” said Bennett. “As a husband, father, and active member of our incredible community, I want to represent our district in Hartford and ensure that it remains an ideal and thriving place to live and work for everyone. My experience with running my own business and leading technology at multiple companies has given me the skills to bring people together towards a shared purpose and goals, to solve problems, and to lead by listening and valuing the perspectives of all.
